After he was authorized as a Buddhist teacher, Alex sought additional training in order to better serve his students. It is outlined below.

This differs from traditional Buddhist meditation as it is secular/ science-based. He is educated on the primal stress response, the neuroscience of meditation, and can design custom meditation templates for individual students' needs.
He is a certified mindfulness teacher professional (CMT-P) and a member of the International Mindfulness Teacher's Association.
Certified Breathwork Facilitator- Using pranayama and conscious breathing techniques that he's learned through years of practice, Sensei Alex helps students release trauma, relieve anxiety, and connect more fully to this present moment.
He is a member in good standing of the International Breathwork Foundation.
Hi Alex,
ReplyDeleteI like your teachings. I have been a dharma practitioner for 31 years. I started when my father died when I was 40. I practiced for many years mindfulness/Vipassana but it never gave me the peace I was looking for. To make it short I have practiced with many forms and traditions. But around 10 years ago I started practicing absolute samadhi meditation and it was this practice that I discovered Dogens Mind and body drop off. It was these awakening experiences which changed my life. The reason I tell you this as I think you are one who could benefit the most from learning the advanced meditation of Jhana and Absolute samadhi. I'm 71 years old and have met too many delusional people who are captivated by fame and fortune. Sometimes you are better off to head off into the wilderness, forget the world, forget the self..anid see what happens. I know I did and still do.
