National Day of Meditation: The Willard Park Meditation Society partnered with The Tattooed Buddha to live stream our meditation session as part of the National Day of Meditation.  6 other groups from as far away as Kansas City and New Orleans participated as we strove to bring more peace and calm abiding into the world.  Recordings of the event are available here.

Interfaith Prayer Vigil: I partnered with faith leaders from the Catholic, Protestant, and Jewish traditions in order to stand in solidarity with workers who had been captured and detained during ICE raids.

Cleveland Animal Rights Conference: I met with an amazing group of animal rights activists and gave a Dharma talk entitled "I Promise I Won't Burn Out".  We discussed the roles of Faith, Compassion, and Gratitude in activism, and how they can protect us from burn out.

Live Dharma Sunday:  I joined Rev. Koyo Kubose on the Live Dharma Sunday podcast, and gave a Dharma glimpse, which explained Buddha Nature and the role of basic goodness in Buddhist practice.  You can listen to a recording of the talk by clicking here.

Heartfulness Meditation Center- Cleveland:  I gave a Dharma talk entitled, "Live From the Heart- Buddhist Teachings for Difficult Times" where I explained how the three Buddhist perfections of Wisdom, Generosity, and Loving-Kindness help us to remain calm and centered during times of struggle.

The Tattooed Buddha Podcast:  I had the opportunity to join Buddhist teacher Gerald Stribling. author of Buddhism for Dudes, on the Tattooed Buddha Podcast.  Both Gerald and I are former Marines, and we discussed our prior military experience along with how it affects our Dharma practice.  You can listen to the full podcast by clicking here.

Cleveland Animal Right Alliance:  I discussed the intersections between Buddhist ethics and animal rights.  Specifically, I talked about my time living and working on organic farms in Indiana and New York, and how those experiences along with my Buddhist practice led me to adopt a vegan lifestyle.

Heartfulness Meditation Center- Cleveland:  I represented the Buddhist perspective on an interfaith panel, which tried to answer the question, "How can we achieve community harmony?"  It was a beautiful and rigorous discussion which included voices from the Buddhist, Catholic, Jesuit, and Heartfulness traditions.
